Conrad Publishing company will be releasing the manga Zettai Kareshi by Yuu Watase (Fushigi Yuugi) in Brazil. The title in Portuguese will be Zettai Kareshi - The Perfect Boyfriend (Zettai Kareshi - O Namorado Perfeito). According to Conrad's marketing manager Alexandre Linhares, the manga will be released in six volumes, and the first volume will appear in May.

Panini Comics Brazil has announced that it plans to release Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto in Brazil. Also, according to issue 42 of the magazine Wizmania, Panini will finally release Samurai Executor in Brazil this May, and Astro Boy later this year.

Cartoon Network Latin America has recently acquired 52 episodes of the Naruto anime.

Papo de Budega has conducted a small interview with Viz Media regarding the release status of its manga titles in Latin America. Contrary to what has been said on numerous Latin web forums, Viz currently has no plans to release Ichigo 100% and Megaman: Starforce in Latin America.

According to Viz Media's Senior Director Public Relations Evelyn Dubocq: "We are not planning to sell Megaman: Starforce or Ichigo100% [in Latin America]." According to Evelyn, the recent rumors are not official and have nothing to do with Viz Media.

According to JBC Publishing, the latest Inuyasha manga also will suffer delays in Brazilian market. As with Furuba, the reason is match the chronology of Japanese releases.

The next volume of Inuyasha will be released by JBC in the beginning of April, and will follow a monthly release schedule afterwards.

According to JBC Publishing, the release of Fruits Basket volume 21 will be delayed in Brazil. The reason is to keep up with the Japanese release. Fruits Basket volume 23 arrived this week in the Japanese market. According to JBC, "edition 21 arrived here 2 weeks ago, and now the manga team is working on its production". There is currently no release date for volume 21, 22 and 23. JBC said it plans to release Fruits Basket until the very end.

A new anime block similar to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, called OTACRAZE, will premier on Brazilian Play TV on March 5, 2007 from Cloverway.

Cloverway General Manager Daniel Catañeda remarked: "We are negotiating OTACRAZE for all of Latin America, but Brazil will be the country where it all starts."

Conrad Publishing company will releasing Ai Yazawa's Paradise Kiss (パラダイス・キス) in Brazil sometime in 2007. According to Shoujo Café, depending on the success of Paradise Kiss, Conrad may also release Nana (ナナ).
