Panini Comics Brazil will be releasing Trigun by Yasuhiro Nightow in Brazil this December. The format of manga will be 13 x 18 cm, with approximately 176 to 192 pages a volume.

Cartoon Network Brazil has revealed its plans for 2007. In 2007 the cartoon channel will be airing Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z (出ましたっ!パワパフガールズZ). No release dates have been given, but Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z will debut in all Latin America countries simultaneously. official website.

The Naruto anime will arrive in Brazil next year, when the anime debuts on Cartoon Network Brazil in January 01 in both Brazil and Latin America.

Two events will take place in Brazil in the beginning of December. Expo Anime Brazil will be held on December 3rd in São Paulo city. The biggest attraction of this year's show will be the appearance of Japonese singer Ayumi Miyazaki, who sang the themes of Digimon, Beat Hit!, The Last Element and Brave Heart.

Anime Weekend, which will take place on between December 2 - 3 in Porto Alegre city, will be attened by Ricardo Cruz, a member of the group JAM Project and singer of many Brazilian anime themes. Anime Weekend will also host the first "World Cosplay Summit Brazil" stage.

While neither the manga or the anime version of Naruto has been released in the Portuguese language, the shonen series is still extemely popular in Brazil. A poster of Naruto appeared in Brazilian magazine Futuro Comunicação, the issue also contains an article with information and images of the popular anime/manga series.

JBC Publising recently released released Rurouni Kenshin - Chronicles of a Samurai in the Meiji Age Volume 2 (Samurai X – Crônicas de um Samurai na Era Meiji) in Brazil. The book will come with a special gift for the readers: an exclusive double poster of Kenshin.

Jetix Channel will be airing the animation Oban Star Racers オーバン・スターレーサーズ in Brazil starting November 20th at 7:00 p.m. The anime consists of 26 episodes, whose story is about the adolescent Molly.

Yoshitaka Amano (天野喜孝) is one of the most well-known Japanese artist today, some of his works include character designs for Vampire Hunter D and the Final Fantasy series. From Papo de Budega comes an interview with Yoshitaka Amano, who talks about his life and various personal projects.
