From Papo de Budega comes an interview with Min-Woo Hyung, a well-known Korean manhwa artist, who talked about some of his well-known title and other projects.

Min Woo-Hyung is the author of Priest, a manhwa currently being released in America by Tokyopop and in Brazil by Lumus Publishing company.

The World Cosplay Summit Brazilian Stage took place on June 9th, and the winners are Marcelo and Thaís, who cosplayed as Naraku/InuYasha and Sesshomaru.

Brazilian publisher JBC, who promoted the event, used the occasion to introduce its new manga: Death Note. JBC's Julio Moreno announced that they plan to unveil two more titles soon, one shoujo and the other shonen.

The final stage of World Cosplay Summit Brazil will take place in São Paulo city on June 9th. The event, promoted by JBC Publishing, will produce the final couple that will go to Japan to represent Brazil in the event that is considered the "World Cup" of cosplayers.

This year, WCS 2005 winner Francesca Dani will be special guest of the event. WCS will also see the participation of Ricardo Cruz: Brazilian member of the JAM Project (Japan Animationsong Makers).

Papo de Budega reports that Toru Furuya, the original voice actor of characters from Seiya (Saint Seiya), Tuxedo Mask (Sailormoon), Yamcha (Dragon Ball) will visit Brazil during the Animecon in July. Cesar T. Ikko, the AnimeCon Group president, also confirmed that photos of the artists will appear on the convention's official site.

Conrad Publishing will be releasing Akira Toriyama's Kajika this month in Brazil. The format of the manga will be 14 x 20.2 cm, 200 pages a volume. Conrad has previously released other Toriyama manga such as Neko Majin, Marusaku, Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball.

After announcing its plan to release Naruto in Brazil, Panini Comics Brazil has since revealed more details regarding their plan to release the manga. According to Papo de Budega, the manga will be released in May. The format of the manga will be 13.7 x 20 cm, with approximately 192 pages a volume.

Satoshi Kon is known for works such as Tokyo Godfathers, Millennium Actress, Perfect Blue, Paranoia Agent, and more. JBC Publishing has announced plans to make Fullmetal Alchemist available through subscription. FMA is the first JBC title available through subscription.
