SerializationUltimatum Tidbits reports that Nihon Bungeisha's Manga Goraku Nexter will be going on hiatus after its February issue (12/26). Of the series currently being serialized in the magazine, Watanabe Michio's Hakuryuu (White Dragon; 白竜) (story: Tennoji Dai) will be remade as a new series titled Hakuryuu Legend (白竜LEGEND) in the 1/11-18 issue of Weekly Manga Goraku (12/27). According to Moon Phase, Kozue Amano's manga Aria will come to an end in the April issue of Mag Garden's Comic Blade (2/30), with chapter 60 being its last chapter. Also announced is that as part of Tunasima Sirou's Jinki: Extend revival project, Jinki -Shinsetsu- will begin serialization in the May issue of MediaWorks' Dengeki Moeoh. After the suspension of Comic Bom Bom, Negima!? neo (ネギま!? neo) by Takuya Fujima, based on Ken Akamatsu's Mahou Sensei Negima!, will begin serialization once again in Magazine Special No.2 (1/19). A new one-shot titled Kuru Fukuro (黒梟) by Yoshio Sawai, mangaka of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, will appear in Weekly Shounen Jump No.4-5, on sale 12/25. Also starting in the same issue is a new series titled Shinritsu Poseidon Gakuen by Shinichiro Oe. Weekly Jump Reader's Journal reports that "throughout Jump's 40th anniversary year, the spine of each and every Jump issue will connect together to form one massive image to celebrate the anniversary." A new medical manga titled Saijou no Meii (最上の命医) by Takashi Hashiguchi, mangaka of Yakitate!! Japan, will begin serialization in Weekly Shounen Sunday No.1 (12/5). According to (Ms.) Tomo Kimura's Translation Notes, mangaka Ai Yazawa has recovered from her illness, and as a result, Nana will resume serialization in Shueisha's Cookie magazine:

Golden Days (ゴールデン・デイズ) by Shigeru Takao and Karakuri Odette (カラクリオデット) by Julietta Suzuki will be ending in the upcoming issue of Hana to Yume. Belmonde le VisiteuR by Shomei Ishioka came to an end in Weekly Shounen Jump No.51. A new one-shot, titled Toriko by Shimabukuro Mitsutoshi, will appear in Weekly Jump No.52 (11/26). Finally, a new series called Psyren by Iwashiro Toshiaki will begin in Weekly Jump No.1 (12/3). A few months ago Kodansha announced its plan to discontinue Comic BonBon. An official announcement has been posted by Comic BonBon's editorial department announcing the future of the titles serialized in the magazine: According to Moon Phase, a new manga titled Lucky Star: Pocket Travelers (based on Lucky Star's "Lucky Channel") by Akari Ryuryuu will begin serialization in the January issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Comp Ace (11/26). A new Hatsune Miku manga by KEI called Hatsune Mix! will begin in the January issue of Comic RUSH (11/26). A new manga by Itsuki Natsumi (winner of the 21st Kodansha Manga Award) titled Vampire (ヴァムピール) will start in the December issue of Afternoon (10/25). A new Gundam manga called Mobile Suit Gundam: OO (機動戦士ガンダムOO) by Taguchi Oto will start in the December issue of Magazine Z (10/26). Chuosha is reporting that Takuya Fujima's Negima!? neo, an alternate retelling of Ken Akamatsu's Mahou Sensei Negima!, will begin serialization in Magazine Special No.2 (1/18) after it ends in Comic Bom Bom. |
