Via: Icarus Blog Although some manga series will be temporarily serialized in Shonen Jump after Monthly Shonen Jump cease publication, Mahou Tsukai Kurohime will be serialized on the website of the "new magazine" (that will replace Monthly Jump), and the author of Kurohime will serialize a new manga on the "new magazine." After almost a year of hiatus, Masakazu Katsura's Zetman will finally resume serialization in the upcoming issue of Young Jump. According to updates of the Fanime 2007 coverage from Broccoli Books Blog, Murder Princess creator Sekihiko Inui will be starting a new series titled Ratman in the August issue of Shounen Ace (6/26): A new manga titled Shirogane no Karasu by Akimine Kamijyo, mangaka of Samurai Deeper Kyo, will begin serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine issue 26, on sale 5/30. Source: Ultimatum Talk According to Hana to Yume's official website, a new manga from Natsuki Takaya, creator of Fruits Basket, will debut in Hana to Yume issue 13, on sale June 5th. The new manga, titled Hoshi wa Utau (Stars Sing), will be a romance story. The texts beside the title reads: "The stray stars' one-sided love romance." Also, according to this post, a new series titled Peacemaker by Ryoji Minagawa (Spriggan, Project ARMS) will begin serialization in the July issue of Ultra Jump, on sale June 19th. According to the latest post on Champion Red Ichigo's news page, the new follow-up project to the manga My-HiME and My-Otome will be a new series titled Vita Sexualis, created by the "My-HiME Trio" (Yoshino Hiroyuki, Higuchi Tatsuhito, Sato Kenetsu) and Eeji Komatsu (Maburaho, Junk Force). After over 10 years of serialization (began in 1990), Mineko Ohkami's fantasy manga Dragon Knights finally came to an end in the June issue of Shinkosha's manga magazine Wings. A second manga series, Ran Amanogawa's manga Kamiinu X Blood, also ended in the same issue of Wings. Kazuhiko Shimamoto, creator of The Skull Man, will be starting a new series called Aoi Honoo (Blue Flame) in issue 24 of Shogakukan's Young Sunday, on sale May 17th. Also, a new series titled Kurohatsubutsukan Supuringarudo from Kazuhiro Fujita will begin serialization in issue 23 of Kodansha's Weekly Morning, on sale May 10th. According to Champion Red Ichigo's news page, volume 2 of Akita Shoten's Champion Red Ichigo (6/5) will come with an announcement regarding a big project. Currently the only information available is that the project will be a follow-up to the manga My-HiME and My-Otome, more information will be available in Champion Red Ichigo issue 2. |
