How to use this guide:

Publishers are in Maroon
Male oriented magazines are in Blue
Female oriented magazines are in Red

Magazines are listed in the following format:

Title - name of the magazine
Genre - shounen, shoujo, etc.
Release Date - month/day
Website - The official website
Publisher - The publisher and its website. ("By Title" category only)
Notable Series - a few well-known series from the magazine
Information - anything else that might be interesting about the magazine


Shounen Jump
Website (sometimes the magazine can have two sites, the "main" site will be listed first)
Notable series: Dragon Ball, Slam Dunk, One Piece, Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, City Hunter, Rurouni Kenshin, Saint Seiya.
- Founded in 1968, the most popular magazine in Japan. In 1994, Jump sold an unprecedented 6.2 million copies, though sales have been declining in recent years.

Manga Anthology Circulations:

The Magazine Guide 2005 Edition has been released. It contains datas on 645 magazines from 78 publishing companies in Japan. The guide lists each magazine's format, forms of publication, dates, price, etc., and each magazine is categorized by its genre. Moreover, each entry includes a brief description of the magazine from its Editor-in-Chief.

It can be clearly seen that the circulation of many magazines has decreased between 2004-2005, especially Weekly Shounen Magazine, Morning, and Ribon. Note that the numbers are based on the issues published, which does not reflect the actual sales number.
