MediaWorks will be launching two new special issues of Dengeki G's Magazine this November:

Dengeki G's Festival! COMIC is a special issue of Dengeki G's Magazine that's aimed at men in their 20s to their 30s, some manga serialized in Dengeki G's Magazine will be serialized in this magazine, and the first issue will be out on 11/26. The first issue (11/30) of Dengeki G's Festival! DELUXE will provide full coverage on the ef anime, game and other related goods.

topA new Hatsune Miku manga by KEI called Hatsune Mix! will begin in the January issue of Comic RUSH (11/26).

A new manga by Itsuki Natsumi (winner of the 21st Kodansha Manga Award) titled Vampire (ヴァムピール) will start in the December issue of Afternoon (10/25).

A new Gundam manga called Mobile Suit Gundam: OO (機動戦士ガンダムOO) by Taguchi Oto will start in the December issue of Magazine Z (10/26).

Canned Dogs reports that Star Ocean 2 character designer Koio Minato has written a post on his website criticizing Kodansha's Shounen Sirius magazine:

In his BBS, he says that he wants to quit working with Shounen Sirius. He explains that after he submitted the art early and having corrected the colours 4 times over for print, they had a miscommunication in the Kodansha offices which created very big printing miss when printing the cover for his manga, causing the colours to become bland and make the design look weird.

A trial issue of the manga magazine Comic Akibana! No.0 is being distributed for free in Akihabara on the 20th and 21th of October. The trial issue contains 8 manga serials, and one novel. Akibaos and Akiba Blog has posted some previews of the magazine.

Comic Akibana! is Dijima's second seinen manga magazine that's being distributed for free (the first one being Comic Gumbo).

Ichijinsha, publisher of the yuri manga magazine Comic Yurihime, has included a ecchi/yuri manga titled Yurihime Wildrose with the latest issue of Comic Yurihime. A brief preview of the manga from Akiba Blog can be seen here.

From ManagCast comes another installment of its "Morning Report," an feature that looks at Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Morning, as well as works and manga artists related to the magazine.

topKadokawa Shoten's manga magazine Beans Ace will become a bi-monthly magazine as of volume 10.

Also, with the release of volume 3 of Houbunsha's manga magazine Comic Yell! (11/10), the magazine will become a bi-monthly magazine. The magazine is mentioned by the publisher as a "pure and cute shoujo manga magazine for males."

The first issue of a new cat manga magazine titled Neko Mero! will be released by Gentosha Comics on October 16th, 2007. The magazine will be published quarterly.

From MangaCast comes "The Morning Report: Issue 38," which takes an in-depth look at Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Morning, as well as various manga artists whose works are serialized in the magazine.

Moon Phase reports that MediaWorks' light novel magazine Dengeki hp No.50 will be the last issue that carries the title "Dengeki hp." In December, the magazine will be relaunched under a new title (currently the temporary title is "Dengeki Bunko Magazine").

Flex Comix will launch a new free online magazine titled Flex Comix Flare (FlexComix フレア) on Yahoo! Comic on October 18th. The new magazine will serialize manga aimed at female readers.

Manga serialized in this new magazine will mostly involve romance, fantasy, adventure, comedy and school life. Also, the popular josei manga Moto no Moto no Ana no Naka will be moved from Flex Comix Blood to Flex Comix Flare (serialization on Flare starts on 11/8).
