The official site for the animated movie version of Piano no Mori - The perfect world of KAI by Madhouse has opened at www.piano-movie.jp.

Piano no Mori is a seinen manga by Isshiki Makoto. It was first serialized in Kodansha's Young Magazine Uppers, and was moved to Weekly Morning.

A second season of Zero no Tsukaima has been confirmed by the insert that came with volume 4 of the Zero no Tsukaima DVD, as well as the cover wrap of volume 1 of the manga and volume 10 of the original novel. The Zero no Tsukaima anime is based on the light novel of the same name written by Noboru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Eiji Usatsuka.

According to this announcement, Kenjiro Hata's Hayate the Combat Butler will be adapted into an anime TV series in 2007.

Hayate the Combat Butler is a comedy manga famous for its numerous crossovers and "easter eggs." Currently the manga is being published in the U.S. by VIZ Media.

Ichiko Ima's shojo manga Hyakki Yakou Shou, currently serialized in Asahi Sonorama's in Nemurenu Yoru no Kimyou na Hanashi, will be adapted into a TV drama in February 2007.

A new live-action film based on Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys manga has been announced and is set to come out in 2008.

20th Century Boys recently
returned to the pages of Big Comic Spirits after going on hiatus for over eight months.

Ogamiya Yokochou Tenmatsuki by Fukusuke Miyamoto will be adapted into an TV drama series. The first episode will premier on December 2nd. Haimiya Yokochou Tenmatsuki is currently serialized in Ichijinsha's Comic Zero-Sum.

Arc System Works will release a digitilized version of Mitsuteru Yokoyama's Romance of the Three Kingdoms manga Sangokushi (Yokoyama Mitsuteru Sangokushi) for the Nintendo DS in December. The manga will be released through the AS Networks, and will come with sound effects and mini games. This release is part of a series called "Gamics," which stands for "Game + Comic."

According to the latest issue of Big Comic Superior, Moonlight Mile by Yasuo Otagaki will be adapted into an anime TV series.

Also announced was that the Moonlight Mile manga is on hiatus due to its author's illness.

School Days, a popular 18+ PC game by 0verflow, will be adapted into an anime TV series next year. The School Days game is famous for its over 70 hours worth of animations, which requires over 7 gigabytes of hard disk space for installation.
