Papo de Budega interviews Tetsuya Bessho, who was in Brazil this August for the 17th Sao Paulo International Short Films Festival. Tetsuya Bessho is one of the founding members of the Short Shorts Film Festival, he was born in Shizuoka, Japan on August 31, 1965. In the interview Tetsuya Bessho talks about his career and "Ultraman - the Next" movie, which was released on DVD in Brazil this year.

DVD of Fullmetal Alchemist TV series will be released in the Brazilian market on October 09. the DVD contains are three 'discos' with 4 episodes each, and includes Portuguese and English subtitles. According to Focus Films, audio can also be set to Portuguese and Japanese. The Japanese audio is in the 2.0 and 5.1 format, which is an exclusive version for Brazil.

Panini Comics Brazil will be releasing the Crying Freeman (Story: Kazuo Koike; Art: Ryoichi Ikegami) manga in Brazil this September. The distribution of the manga will be divided into different phases, and during the initial phase the manga will be released in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo city. Crying Freeman is a manga originally serialized in Shogakukan's weekly magazine Big Comic Spirits.

Submarine Super 99 (original creator: Leiji Matsumoto) and Babel II: Beyond Infinity will be aired on the Brazilian Animax Channel. Submarine Super 99 will start on Thursday at 10:30 a.m., and Babel II will start on Friday at 10:30 a.m..

From Papo de Budega comes an interview with voice actor David Kaye. David Kaye's voice is very well known in the American anime scene: Ranma 1/2 (Soun Tendou), InuYasha (Sesshoumaru), Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (Treize Kushrenada), Megaman NT Warrior (ProtoMan), Transformers Armed (Megatron) are just some of the voices he did.

The Conrad Publishing will be releasing Nekomajin by Akira Toriyama this September. The title is a parody of Toriyama's biggest success: Dragon Ball. Nekomajin was written between 1999 and 2005. The format is 14 x 21 cm, with 200 pages. The manga is available in R$ 24,90 (approximately $ 11,62).
