3rd Golden Dragon Award Winners Announced

Winners of the 3rd Golden Dragon Award, known in China as the "Anime and Manga Oscar," were announced on February 2nd. Over 60 works, 30 artists and publishing companies participated in this year's award. Many foreign works also made appeared in the competition, including Ice Age 2 and Death Note the movie.

There were over 25 categories, including "Best Original Chinese Animation and Comics," "Best Foreign Animation and Manga," "Best Publisher," and more. Below are the winners from a few selected categories:

Best Domestic Manga

Winner:

Runner-up:
- On Line (阿衰on lin) - 49435 votes

Best Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Manga

Winner:
- The One (THE ONE 独领风骚) - 85,563 votes
Runner-up:
- Oolong Yuan (乌龙院大长篇) - 85,525 votes

Best Foreign Manga

Winner:
- Angela (安基拉) - 58899 votes
Runner-up:
- Fullmetal Alchemist (钢之炼金术师) - 51612 votes

Best Hong Kong, Macau and Foreign Anime and Manga Film Adaption

Winner:
- Dragon, Tiger Gate (龙虎门) - 19,640 votes
Runner-up:
- Death Note (DEATH NOTE) - 70,976 votes

Best Foreign Animation

Winner:
- Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (FF7 圣子降临) - 55,770 votes
Runner-up:
- Ice Age 2 (冰川时代2) - 48,516 votes
